CORE CONCEPTS WORKSHOP: April 5, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA

G3 develops courses for professionals involved in the design, planning, regulation, installation, and maintenance of landscapes. THE CORE CONCEPTS WORKSHOP IS A PREREQUISITE FOR ALL G3 PROFESSIONAL TRAINING, INCLUDING THE INTENSIVE SEMINAR.

The G3 Watershed Wise Landscape Professional Programs shepherd professionals along various Paths for professional, communication, and leadership development:

G3 Certified Professional Path

After successful completion of the Core Concepts Workshop, professionals interested in becoming G3 Associates on design and consulting projects, and in taking leadership roles within their communities in urban watershed transformation follow the Certified Professional Path to the G3 Watershed Wise Intensive Seminar and Certification Exam

G3 Qualified Trainer Path

After successful completion of the Core Concepts Workshop, professionals interested in becoming eligible to teach Watershed Basics Classes and Site Assessment HOWs for G3 Homeowner Programs follow the Qualified Trainer Path to the G3 Communication Workshop. The Communication Workshop focuses specifically on communication techniques for teaching the community about and educating clients on the latest watershed friendly (sustainable) landscaping techniques. G3 Qualified Trainers are needed throughout California to keep pace with the expansion of the Watershed Wise Landscape Program and our other Branded Customized Programs.

G3 Regional Coordinator Path

Candidates for the three-day ADVANCED Coordination Workshop MUST BE BOTH G3 Certified Professionals AND G3 Qualified Trainers in order to be invited by a G3 Managing Member to participate in this course, which focuses on developing regional leaders’ skills in creating, funding, and profitably operating G3 programs and projects in their local communities. The Coordination Workshop is held only once each year, as required to fill the regional positions.
