G3 Education
We provide educational programs for Professionals and Homeowners. All of our programs emphasize interactive classes and hands-on, peer-to-peer training.
Professionals have an opportunity to expand their careers as G3 Associates or G3 Qualified Trainers. G3 Associates work closely with other G3-trained professionals to execute Education, Design, Consulting and Community Action projects. G3 Qualified Trainers are eligible to teach G3 classes and help us implement Homeowner and Garden Steward Programs in their community.
Educational events and Speaking Engagements, Hands-on Workshops (HOWs), and Neighborhood Walks connect participants with the land, reinforcing classroom work with real-time, professionally-led, hands-on experiences creating landscapes that are sustainably designed and thoughtfully installed.

G3 Consulting
G3 provides consulting services to assist a wide variety of organizations in the development of custom programs, events and curriculum. G3 utilizes its Certified Professionals to establish teams with regional and functional expertise, uniquely suited to addressing the specific requirements of our geographically-diverse consulting clients. Consulting services are provided on an ad hoc basis through both fixed bid and time-and-materials contracts, depending upon the scope of work.
G3 Design
Our landscape designs are created by hand-picked teams of professionals to fulfill the requirements of the project design parameters. We rely upon our G3 Associates and Founding Members to create beautiful, functional demonstrations of urban watershed renewal. Our demonstration gardens highlight eco-restorative landscape techniques and promote the principles of low-impact design including: climate and place-appropriate plant palettes, water conserving irrigation, restoration of living soil, and elimination of dry and wet-weather runoff.
G3 Community Action
We work in close collaboration with our Program Partners and the wider G3 Professional and Homeowner and Garden Steward community to spark change in neighborhoods. G3 is an open-source organization, willing and able to work with all variety of public, non-profit, professional, and lay constituents toward motivating people to protect and restore their urban watersheds and transform water and resource-guzzling gardens into climate and place-appropriate landscapes.
