G3, The Green Gardens Group is an open-source for-profit organization organized as a California LLC. G3 integrates the policies, programs, and people required to generate sustainable green careers, and energize communities to protect and restore their urban watersheds.
Our mission is to educate landscape professionals, homeowners, and the local community to transform water and resource-guzzling gardens into climate and place-appropriate landscapes. We advance and promote the latest eco-restorative landscape techniques and principles of low-impact design and establish resources and a shared knowledge base.
G3 empowers its stakeholders through Education, Consulting, Design, and Activism. In collaboration with our Associates, Program Partners, Founding Members, Certified Professionals, Certified Garden Stewards, Qualified Trainers, and the surrounding Community of homeowners, policy-makers, and landscape professionals, we develop a shared understanding to internalize and propagate the stewardship protocols necessary for protecting, remediating, and regenerating the natural world.
