Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, for a free “Deciphering Your Irrigation Controller” workshop hosted by California American Water, Monterey Peninsula Water Management District and the Water Awareness Committee. This is part of a series on learning how to design a yard using the principles of watershed-wise landscaping.  This webinar focuses on the purpose, potential & programming of irrigation controllers, both manual and weather-based options.  We’ll be covering:

    1. Understanding irrigation’s role in maintaining soil moisture balance
    2. Reviewing basic terminology and programming for manual controllers
    3. Outlining the purpose and potential of weather-based controllers
    4. Identifying special functions such as ‘cycle and soak’
