Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, for a free Protecting the Trees workshop hosted by the Santa Margarita Water District.

It is no secret that trees are vital to the health of the planet, and even more so during this time of unprecedented drought. As we try to water our landscapes less, how can we prioritize trees? SMWD has turned to the regenerative landscape professionals at G3-Green Gardens Group to lead this timely virtual workshop to share best practices in tree selection, planting, watering, and maintenance. They will also highlight how integral trees are to creating a resilient landscape.

This workshop will cover:

  • The importance of trees in the landscape
  • How to prioritize trees on your property
  • How to plant and care for trees
  • 3-ways to adapt your irrigation system to keep trees watered

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.
