Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Thursday, October 12, 2023, for a free 75 Minute Rainwater Capture workshop hosted by California American Water, Monterey Peninsula Water Management District, and the Water Awareness Committee of Monterey County.

We do get rain in California, but unfortunately, the amount we hold on to is minimal. This webinar focuses on best management practices for passive and active capturing of rainwater in the landscape. Join us and learn about:

1. 1. Criteria and considerations in selecting a rainwater capture method
   2. Working with cisterns
   3. Designing swales and berms (calculations, setbacks, installation)
   4. Directing water into rain gardens

The class is free, but advance registration is required. Please make sure to sign up below.
