Hands on Workshop: Site Evaluation: This workshop is taught in-field, and usually is the first workshop in a Landscape Transformation Series. Attendees learn the necessary skills to properly evaluate their landscape for opportunities to make changes and to produce a simple landscape Site Plan.
- Review the Watershed Approach to landscaping as it applies to an actual landscape
- Evaluate existing site conditions
- Learn how to measure a site properly
- Draw a simple Site Plan, Water Plan, and Existing Irrigation Plan
- Analyze conditions such as soil health, irrigation efficiency, existing plantings, and opportunities for land contouring to capture rainwater
- This workshop is targeted to Property-owners and Professionals
- Suggested pre-requisites include: Watershed Wise Landscaping, Turf Remove Replace or Maintain It (Organically), and Garden Design Workshop
