Stormwater Capture and Curb-cutting Program provides practical experience transforming landscapes with passive rainwater capture in parkways.
- Hands-on-Workshop cutting curbs and allowing stormwater to enter a parkway, median, or other landscaped area adjacent to the street
- Hands-on training for landscape contractors/professionals to understand permitting, grading, safety, and logistics for cutting curbs
- Uses soil and plant roots to filter and absorb runoff before entering waterways
- G3 coordinates the turn-key program including selecting residential and commercial sites, communicating with property owners, providing landscape design and construction details, and managing the installations with contractors, permits, and community, coordinating instructors, managing registrations, and communicating with attendees
- G3 also provides reporting and follow-up on the program
- G3 provides custom and standard landscape plans and details for curb cutting and parkway transformation
- Workshops are taught in English with Simultaneous Spanish Interpretation
- Typical workshops are 180 Minutes
