Visualizing Culver City Curb Cuts

Thanks to Transition Culver City, we are sharing this brilliant video documenting the strong case for implementing a  parkway policy that includes no-fee permits for residents, encouraging them to cut their curbs and install Watershed Wise Landscapes in their parkways. The video looks at the work G3 coordinated for Surfrider Foundation Ventura Chapter and the City of Ventura to cut the curbs in front of 1538 San Nicholas Ave. in Ventura,CA, as well as the work G3 coordinated for Water LA in Panorama City, CA.

Tom Rau, Licensed Landscape Architect, current OFG committee co-chair of West LA/Malibu Surfrider Chapter, and G3 Certified Professional is featured talking about the standard plans he created for the Ventura Curb Cutting Pilot Project and the Water LA Curb Cutting HOW. Our Managing Member, Pamela Berstler, is featured admonishing us all to HAVE FUN.

Next step? Curb Cutting Block Parties and G3’s People’s Guide To Curb Liberation.
